The Videogames Award for Most Annoying Gaming Troll

For some people, simply discussing the latest video games is just not enough. Broad ranging talk about everything that's out there is of no interest to these people, instead they have a favourite game or system and they want everyone to agree with them. Personally I think it stems from not having enough cash to get all the systems and having chosen just one, needing to justify their selection by telling everyone how much better that console is than all the others. It's pretty pathetic and slightly indicitave of a society that puts being on the winning team above pretty much everything else. That's just my opinion though, some people are just argumentative wankers at the end of the day.

Whatever the cause, some members can't post in a thread in the gaming forum without mentioning how shit this game is compared to their preference or how badly this console is going to sell. Sometimes these trolls are little more than an annoyance and some are actually pretty amusing. Others however are a real pain in the arse and it's these members who will be in contention for this award.

Whose fanboyism has pissed you off the most htis year? Standard nominations rules apply, as detailed in the rules thread.

Who was that douchewagon who was banned from the Smash Bros. thread? PsychoJosh I believe it was. He was pretty useless through and through.

Point of order: PsychoJosh was permanently banned from GFF.

What's our stance on letting banned members win awards this year? I don't think it ever came up.
That's not convincing since your nose is bleeding while you say that, you lesbo!

I believe I speak for most people here when I say that Slayer X does not know when to shut the fuck up. Nor does he know where he exactly belongs. I'm going off the loose definition of a troll here, but Mr. X often finds himself in threads he has no business congregating in, doing nothing but getting into fights with those who came to peacefully discuss something of their relative interest.

I'd link to example posts, but I think his post history will speak for itself.

Second mention goes to Mr Crunchy "learn to master the weapons" Nachos for suffering from strikingly similar amounts of running-my-mouth-for-no-reason disorder.
