The Media Centre Award for Consistantly Worst Taste In TV and Movies
We all know that a person's taste in tv and movies is an entirely subjective thing. That doesn't mean of course that some people's tastes aren't utter shite.
A lot of discussion goes on in here about forthcoming movies and popular tv shows and in amongst that, certain people regularly display a complete lack of taste in both. This award should go to the member who really has no idea what constitutes a decent film or tv show. Someone who thought Return of the Jedi was the best of the Star Wars trilogy, who still watched Lost after series two and who has never watched the Princess Bride at all. These are the kind of cultural ignoramii that should be listed below and to whom the award will eventually go to. Standard nominations rules apply as detailed in the rules thread.

I nominate myself, Crash Landon because I hate 99% of anime, everything Joss Whedon ever touched (excepting Firefly), Arrested Development and Lost.
At the same time, I do like Survivor. Clearly this makes me a shoo-in.  |

Since it would be a shame for Crash to run unopposed, I nominate myself as well. Why? Because I don't like most of the movies that simple-minded cretins like. Shit like 300 and Transformers. Fuck that noise. A vote for me is a vote for film snobs like me who like quality movies.
Though I must say, going up against someone who hates Arrested Development is a tough sell   |
