I'm nominating Blah and Sass. Sass traditionally gets the nod for this award every year so I was thinking of not nominating her, and she hasn't really spearheaded every community event like she used to. But, she did get a 20+ member meet together and that's worth a hella amount of respect.

Blah gave us post props/disses. he also gave us other things but the important thing is that he produced, and didn't talk shit like bobo used to.

RABicle would like to point out a_lurker's ignorance of the GFF Award rules and condemn her for wasting everyone's time with a second nomination for two members. RABicle urges all GFF members of voting age to vote for anyone but a_lurker in all catagories she is standing for and RABicle calls for a boycott of votes for Blaha nd Sass in most community orientated. RABicle would like to announce his endorsement of blue in this catagory.

I would second this motion if there had been tits involved. As blue is as virginal as the driven snow (and three times as white), this has not happened and I cannot support such an idea.

Having a hottest member award on a message board populated largely by nerds and virgins is either as pointless as a Best Black Member on a Kkk message board or as creepy as a sexiest four year old award on a board for nonces. The moderator award was one that didn't spark ouch interest last year and there's not been much in the way of decent drama this year and I'm not sure it's the kind of thing we want to be rewarding anyway.

The thing is that Kataah is associated with having a similar posting style to that of users at FFShrine - and because people over there generally don't know how to type and/or they don't have much of a sense of logic, not to mention the fact that gamerips from here were being spread over there in the past without the rippers' permission (sometimes with people claiming them as their own rips), the My Stuff community tends to have a negative bias towards FFShriners.

So in short, kuttlas is saying your nomination is rather dim-witted. However, I don't have any opinion on this whatsoever, because hey, a nomination is a nomination.


Can I PLEASE get temporary mod powers for this subforum? I don't enjoy being limited to splitting posts to a separate topic rather than just outright moving them to the discussion thread.

Can we get an official deadline on the nominations?

Nominations will close at midnight GMT on the fourteenth. Plenty of time for everyone to give their nominations some proper consideration rather than putting up the first thing to pop into their heads.
