Award for Best use of Avatar and Signature Space

Aside from our wacky usernames, we identify each other here primarily by each other's avatars and signatures. Actually that's not neccessarily true, I browse with avs and sigs disabled but whatever, I've still got one and you all know what I mean.

For some, any old avatar picture will do, so long as the girl in it has been drawn with big eyes and silly coloured hair. Then it's a quick trip to a fansite for the manga you just lifted the av from for a suitable sig pic and you're done. For others though, the crafting of avatars and signatures is a labour of love with hours of thought and effort going into each one.

This award is for the member who has consistently through the year made the best use of their avatar and signature space. Standard nominations rules apply, as detailed in the rules thread.

Encephalon. His sig/avatars are always perfect and gorgeous. I feel like he must spend so much time making them the way he does.

Sadly this is not the case.

I always like it better when people put together little ensembles between groups. Last year I nominated (the winners) Deni, lurker and Skills for the Secret of Mana and this year I wanted to do the same with the FFVI chain... But alas, it is a chain and I don't know if that counts. If, however, I can pick a single standout from that entire group, it would have to be lurker who, not only organized the chain but also sported the sexiest sprites in the whole bunch.

Actually, I would like to nominate Azingno as there was a clever sig he used that really stuck in my mind, with the person being suplexed endlessly through a chain of people. I thought that particular loop sequence was rather amusing and eyecatching.

I have to say that Tawnee's infamous "Stay in School" image is a personal favorite, and the girl in there now with the camera and the "I O GFF" sign near her panties is great.
Then there's the Thundercats logo in every avatar somwheres (at least I think it always is).

Hmm. Hows about Krelian/Shitflap? I don't have it on-hand, but his avatar was fucking GOLD when he had the name change <3

I've always liked Infernal's avatars and sigs. Always creative and funny. Here's one that I actually kept since it amused me a lot back then.

No joke, CHz. Always has something awesome in his av/sig.

We still need to do the 01/Kikaida sig pair though ;__;.

Taco for his Yuyuko ava/sig, because touhou is love and I can't help myself.

I.. can't think of a second nomination right now, but I'd just like to point out that Diss has done all of these Earthbound avatars, plus his Cave/Story ava/sig set. I like Acer's a lot, too~

Elixir, actually.

Clean, crisp, colorful avatars and signatures of characters from some [pretty good] rpgs. The subject matter ain't exactly new, but at least he does a good job at finding unique artwork.

You guys all have some great stuff. A lot of the ones I really love have been nominated already. Puck, saved me for one of my nominations (lix also makes great use of random.php) so thanks that opens up a slot.

I'm going with Merv Burger first. He usually always has a fun set, he employs the most of his space with various things throughout the year be it now with his hilarious infaction/warning icons or his links. He was the first I saw around here to use random.php and really effectively at that. He still does it every now and then. Overall he has good taste and has a fun sense of humor. =)

Pangalin! Pang, is probably the reason I became obsessed with animated avatars. He has had a lot of fun over the years with them and he employs such wonderful gags with space. I've lost track of how many times I've PM'd him for sources. He really strikes me as a man of outstanding ava/sig character. <3 Strike Otoko forever~
