Wolf's Rain OST 1 (VICL-61082)

Yep, finally doing this.

I like wolves, so I'm posting the picture.
OST 2's cover is here too, if you want it. I find it adorable.

1. Stray - A rock song sung by Steve Conte. Quite good. (10/10)
2. Rakuen - See my review for Go To ~ Rakuen, except it's not as amazing. (10/10)
3. Coracao Selvagem - A bluesy vocal song in Brazillian Portuguese with guitar and percussion backing. Of course, this is Wolf's Rain, so diverse percussion and guitars are expected. I think the title means Wild Hearts or something. (10/10)
4. Renga - An instrumental continuation of the Latin sound, more upbeat than the previous track, with some piano. (9/10)
5. Pilgrim Snow - Opens with a harp thingy... or something, and goes to some rather sad and pretty woodwinds. Has the distinction of being not Latin sounding. (10/10)
6. Leaving on Red Hill - Back to Latin goodness. I find it strange that there's lots of Latin music even though the series is set in a place with lots of snow and ice and Cyrilllic writing. This one starts off calm, with guitars, flutes, and strings, and then gets action-packed. (10/10)
7. Shiro - Remember my review of Shiro ~ Long Tail? Well, it's like that. Except calmer. (9/10)
8. Dogs and Angels - Joyce of Coracao Selvagem fame scat-sings to piano-as-a-percussion-instrument and some strings later on. (7/10)
9. Strangers - A vocal by Raj Ramayya, this time male and English. You probably couldn't tell by his name. It's mostly piano and saxophone. And percussion. This one brings some good memories to mind. (10/10)
10. Sleeping Wolves - Pretty, but doesn't develop enough. This song does not have percussion either. (7/10)
11. Tip-Toe Waltz - Well, it's a waltz performed by the Warsaw Philharmonic or something. (8/10)
12. My Little Flower - More Warsaw Philharmonic. Not as upbeat as Tip-Toe Waltz. (7.5/10)
13. Could You Bite The Hand - An acoustic rock song with lyrics performed by Steve Conte that are relevant to our own lives. (10/10)
14. Valse de la Lune - Ilaria Graziano sings in French to percussion, strings, and guitar plucking. Very nice. A pity it wasn't used in the series. (10/10)
15. Hot Dog Wolf - A duet between guitar and some kind of string thingus that is lower than a violin. Maybe a viola. (10/10)
16. Silver River - Upbeat Latin guitar stuff. (9/10)
17. Sold Your Soul - Some sad violin music. The guitar makes an appearance too. (9/10)
18. Vision of a Flame - Some percussion and a chanting distorted vocal. Doesn't go anywhere, unfortunately. (6/10)
19. Run, Wolf Warrior, Run - Joyce is inspired by Asin and sings in English to the tune of a guitar and percussion (of course). This song still brings tears to my eyes. It's just that good. (A MILLION/10)
20. Gravity - An ending song by Maaya Sakamoto. It reminds me of one of Sankuchuari from Earth Girl Arjuna, also by Maaya, only I don't think it's as good. Of course, there are a lot of things I don't think are as good as Sankuchuari. (8/10)
21. Paradiso - A saxophone and piano version of Rakuen. (9/10)

Thanks Yamamanama, I read your review and found it helpful.
So I tuned in on Last.fm and listened to the preview tracks.
