I think the only real anime that I have the whole set of on DVD is

G Gundam (hahahahaha yeah that's right, ownage)

Other than that I only collect the episodes I liked from certain series. But if you count dled series then I got a lot more but since this was only DVD, I guess that's it for me.

I don't have a tremendous amount, but it's good for a start:

Anime Series

Outlaw Star Perfect Collection - Caught this originally on CN. Great stuff. Knowing that Toonami cut an entire episode out of the airing further inspired me to buy this.

Mobile Suit Gundam: 08th MS Team Complete Collection - Also first saw this on CN. The BEST Gundam series in my opinion.

Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War In The Pocket Complete Collection - An amazing series from a different point of view. With only 6 episodes, this show was as fulfilling as watching a 26-ep. series.

Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stadust Memory Complete Collection - I remembered catching a bit of this series during Adult Swim's initial premiere. It had a very intriguing storyline so I had to check it out.

Dragonball Z: Perfect Cell Saga Complete Collection - After watching DBZ in it's entirety, this was the only part of the show I found enjoyable.

Dragonball Z: Cell Games Saga Complete Collection - See previous description.

Anime Movies

Cowboy Bebop: The Movie - The series was unbelievable so I had no doubts in purchasing the movie.

Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz - The series bored me to tears, but I found the movie surprisingly entertaining. Good form.

I plan on making a few more purchases here in the near future, so I'll update accordingly.

I remember telling myself that I'd try to steer away from buying anime dvd's. The though of having a few episodes per dvd on a long series for about 30 dollars canadian (the average price in the main stores) kinda turned me off. Thats till I finished watching Eureka Seven >.>

Well, I still dont have much, but right now its the first couple volumes of Eureka. I plan to make an exception and to finish this series. 12 Dvd's though... yee haha
I'm the best, and the best thing is you know it!

Ghost in the Shell - First anime I ever bought, and the only one I'd ever actually heard of at that point.

Vampire Hunter D - Still in my phase of complete ignorance about anime (not to mention my "I'm dark & edgy" phase), and this looked cool.

Akira: Ultimate Edition boxset - Bought this cause I saw Akira once at a friend's house and I quite enjoyed it. Can't remember exactly what this contains (original Manga Video release, remastered version and a short "making of" documentary, I believe).

Tenchi OVA series 1 & 2 (and both specials), Tenchi Muyo, Shin Tenchi Muyo, the three Tenchi Movies - A friend had been pestering me for years to watch Tenchi, so when I saw this lot on ebay for £70 it seemed like too good a deal to pass up.

Love Hina - Although by now I knew a little bit more about anime, I was still criminally lacking in actual knowledge of some of the more famous series.

Vision of Escaflowne - Despite having never seen this, a plethora of glowing reviews left me in no doubt that I should purchase it at the first possible opportunity, and I wasn't disappointed.

SaiKano - Possibly my first genuinely informed anime purchase, I bought this on the strength of the translated manga scans by SnoopyCool.

SaiKano: Another Love Song - Loved the series, can't really remember if the OVA is any good.

Let's see. I've got:

Chobits - Entire series + Box
Ai Yori Aoshi - Entire series + Box
Comic Party - Enter series + Box
Gunparade March - Entire series + Tin
Outlaw Star - Entire series + Box
Fruits Basket - Entire series + Box
Azumanga Daioh - Entire series, Thinpack + Box
Angelic Layer - Entire series, Thinpack + Box
Last Exile - Entire series
Fushigi Yugi - Entire series
Haibane Renmei - Entire series
Popotan - Entire series
Galaxy Angel - Entire series
Bottle Fairy - Volume 1
Doki Doki School Hours - Volumes 1 and 2

I have more at home that I probably just can't remember right now. As you can see, I buy most of my anime in bulk or when there's a box set available. I VERY seldom buy an entire series one DVD at a time (Chobits was the only time I actually did this).
