Welcome to the Gamingforce Interactive Forums.
GFF is a hellhole full of elitists who chat about everything EXCEPT games. We have a team of dedicated moderators who will ban your ass on the slightest provocation, constant member-organized activities that you are not allowed to participate in, and plenty of custom features, including our unique journal system where you can post entries that will be completely ignored. If this is your first visit, be sure to check out the FAQ or our GFWiki. You will have to register before you can post. Although membership is completely free (and gets rid of the pesky advertisement unit underneath this message) we do not recommend that you sign up, because you will get kicked in the nuts repeatedly.

Important: Please read before posting

Like most other forums on this board, Animespot is for discussion. To improve the quality of threads and posts contained therein, it would be greatly appreciated if these rules could be adhered to:

1. Use the Search Feature
Before creating a new thread, use the Search feature to check if a similar thread has already been created within the last two months. A thread may be re-created if the last post is over two months old. However, if this is not the case, the duplicate thread may be closed or merged with the existing one.

2. Avoid creating threads of the “What is your favourite…” type if possible
Generally, very little discussion is promoted in these threads and were overdone to the extreme on the pre-wipe GFF. Because of this, when an obviously overdone thread is created it may be merged with an existing thread, or closed with a link to the other thread.

*Note for those posting in “What is your favourite…” type threads: Do not reply with just an answer like:

“Love Hina”
“Manga”
“No, it sucks”

Back up your opinion with a reason of why you think that way. A single word answer doesn’t give other members much insight into the poster, and these posts will be deleted without warning. Members who continually make spammy/grossly off-topic posts will be warned via PM, and banned if the warning is ignored. Posts replying directly to spam posts will also be deleted along with them as they serve no purpose other than causing confusion once the offending post is gone.

Other types of posts that will not be tolerated are those consisting of:

"Me too"
"Sorry I can't help"
"Thank you for sharing"
"This thread is stupid and should be closed/moved"

These posts add nothing to the topic and the last example causes an unwelcoming atmosphere, especially when four or five members say exactly the same thing when the reader is obviously not blind. Member moderation is highly discouraged, but a friendly pointer by one member as an afterthought on an on-topic post is understandable.

3. Use spoiler tags where appropriate.
Please use spoiler tags when discussing ANYTHING that could contain spoilers to a series' plot, characters, story, etc. It will save you a lot of flames to add this little tag, and simply typing something along the lines of ****SPOILERS**** doesn't work here. It's a simple rule to follow (and less to type too!)

How do you use spoiler tags you ask? Why it's very simple. Simply type a vBtag [ ] with spoiler inside. [ spoiler ] without the spaces, and close the tag when you are done. This will make things a lot easier and save us all the needless fighting over spoilers, which can pop up (and more often than you think) in almost every anime-related thread of this forum. So please, use spoiler tags, only YOU can prevent forum fires.

Spoiler:
This is a sample use of a spoiler tag. See how easy it is? Good, now go use them.

4. The first post is extremely important.
When creating a thread about any new manga/TV series or OVA/movies, give sufficient description of what it is about, and if possible, available resources for obtaining information and/or products. Don't assume that everyone knows what you're promoting or discussing, and have the time or inclination to look it up. This is to prevent posts of the following nature:

"What is this about?"
"Where can I get it?"
"How many episodes/volumes is this?"

...and so on. New threads that do not observe this rule will be locked upon discretion.

As with every other forum, SPAM will not be tolerated and deleted without warning. On a related note, posts made purely to announce new fansub torrents are strongly discouraged, and may be deleted as well.
