Ripping and Re-ripping Shortcuts

I'm starting to organize all the stuff I've downloaded over the years. Some of the lossless OSTs I downloaded (APE/FLAC/TTA) come in a single huge file, without a cue sheet. Since I prefer having individual tracks, I resort to the following procedures:

1. Decode the huge APE/FLAC file into WAV
2. Search freedb for suitable entries, which can be converted to a cue sheet with any number of applications
3. If huge WAV total playtime does not equal cue sheet playtime:
   • Play huge WAV, and try to match up tracks against cue sheets.
   • Manually edit cue sheet track times in Notepad
4. Mount WAV file as Audio CD in Alcohol 120%
5. Confirm accuracy of (modified) freedb cuesheet by cross-checking with GraceNote's CDDB (using Winamp)
6. Rip the mounted CD with Exact Audio Copy, using AUTOFLAC script
7. Run METAFLAC on converted files to generate Album ReplayGain
8. Open FLAC files in Tag and Rename, and tag/rename as necessary

While this process works for me, it is rather time consuming. I was wondering if you fellows have any alternate procedures which are more... painless?

To save time, you probably want to do a lot of steps in foobar.

You can do step 4-8 with Foobar without mounting hassle. It's even possible to convert the flac with cuesheet directly to seperate songs without decoding to wav.
Of course replaygain and tagging is also possible in foobar.
