Hey, would it be too late for me to swap something on my list? Somehow I had forgotten about North Wall [Actraiser], and I'd feel crappy if I left it out. If it's not a problem, could it take the spot The Ocean [E.V.O.] currently occupies on my list? (I feel a bit bad cutting the Ocean out, but sometimes such difficult decisions must be made! Anyway, A Journey of 450 Million Years is a superior rendition of the same song...) Thanks a bunch.

Any track that got five or more nominations was in. There were nine songs with four nominations and only eight remaining spots, so the one that was nominated last was dropped. Songs that had identical numbers of points in the final lineup were arranged in the order they were nominated.

Interesting to note that there was a lot of 'series loyalty' this time. Two games had two songs each in the Companion 16 because people tended to nominate them in pairs, and several other games has multiple songs in contention as well.

What was the last song that got four nominations?

Lessee here...it was Legend of Heroes VI - The Merciless Savior.

Nice selection for the companion disc! Pity The Merciless Saviour didn't get in. That track has really grown on me. Very surprised Kimera II got so many nominations considering that it's rather unconventional.
