New spoiler method.

Spoilers are now placed inside a hidden <div> which users can reveal by clicking on a button. This solves the problem of images/emoticons not being hidden, as presented in this thread.

If for some reason the old spoiler method (text with the same color as background) is preferred, use [oldspoiler] instead.

setting titles:
You can set titles for your spoilers now, which will show up on your button text. Just use [ spoiler="title" ] format (remove spaces).

Spoiler (highlight to read):
This is the old spoiler method.

Cheers.

Wow, there's nothing I can think would better this =D

Spoiler - Clickage to see:
[edit]Maybe having it so if no text is specified in the [ spoiler ] tag, then sure it just says SPOILER or something, but if something is specified then remove the "Spoiler About" bit.[

Maybe being able to hide it again? I have no idea why but I feel it would be better like that =\

This doesn't hide spolers if you let the mouse hover over a thread, though. (You know, if you're looking at the list of threads)
So people still has to make a lenghty post before the spoiler

Cheers.

Is it possible to make the spoiler appear in a box after clicking on it? It's just that it can get confusing in a text filled with spoiling and non-spoiling information.

Done.

Having another button to hide the spoiler -- that can be done, I'll look into it next time.

That'll require an edit to the php source (I think) to remove all content enclosed by [spoiler] tags before adding it to the HTML as popup text; not quite in my control at this time.

Spoiler (highlight to read):
Sure isn't nice if you've got JS disabled.
Granted, that cannot be helped, and probably all of two people disable it here anyways. The wonders of vim.

Spoiler (highlight to read):
That's true.
I guess that'd be why I can't get to Search and a great deal of the board easily. Perhaps I ought to enable JavaScript for GFF, now that Opera (9) allows that.
PS it works quite well--neat trick. I did something similar over on RPM, just with a fieldset, but I'll have to st...borrow this. XD
