Events Calendar

All these av/sig weeks and events are confusing me. It would be cool if there was a calendar that mods or maybe even ACT could edit so that people could view it. I'd say regular members, but I have a feeling it'd get bombarded with spam.

Just an idea.

You can add events to the calendar with the "Add New Event" menu near the top of the page.

Ramoth just got owned. Then people with all these av/sigs that overlap should use it.

Well as Shin said in his thread, while it's cool to put these events down on the calendar you shouldn't use them like a set schedule. If there's more than one chain going on that's fine. Also, people can use these ava/sigs as long as they like so there isn't much of a point saying this week is when we'll do such and such chain. Just put the starting day of the chain if you wish. Although people barely use the calendar as is so I guess go wild if you really want to.

There is no fucking way that we should start scheduling avatar chains on the calendar. I really want people to move away from the idea of everything having to be a week and arranging these things around each other. Personally, I'd like to ban avatar chain threads from CC and force them back into the journals, like they used to be but I can't see that being an idea that'll receive much popular support.

If you see an avatar chain you like the look of, join it and be happy. If you're worried about missing out on someone else's, the one you joined in the first place can't have been all that good...

Just curious, but why are you so vehemently opposed to a set-schedule for chains?
