Thought you should know
Turning off avatars doens't work with the Lite skin. I've just changed to the default skin and my "dont show avatar" settings finaly kicked in, so pages are cleaner, loading faster and look better.
I used the mind bondage spell on my father

I've been browsing with avatars, sigs and images disabled for about 6 months now. It means my phone loads GamingForce quicker than dialup would and I don't have to look at so many unimaginative anime avatar pictures any more. Win win situation really.

You do know that avatars still show up in journal comments even if you have them switched off, right?
