Most Recent Journal Entries for Buddies

I've noticed since GFF came back up, this feature isn't working properly. For example, when I pull up my list, both Miles and Tails have an entry more recent than what shows up the the Most Recent list.

I noticed that myself actually. Glad it's not just me...

Third person to acknowledge. Only noticed it after about the third instance today though.
At first I thought it had to do with response entries or private entries, but that doesn't seem to be relevant.

Seriously, can someone fix this please? I'm missing out on a ton of journal entries with this feature borked.

Guess we just have to keep whining because no one cares.

HAY GUYZ, THE MOST RECENT JOURNAL ENTRY THING FOR BUDDIES IS ALL BUSTED AND OFTEN SHOWS THE SECOND OR EVEN THIRD MOST RECENT ENTRY RATHER THAN THE MOST RECENT. THIS MAKES THE FEATURE PRETTY MUCH POINTLESS. I THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE ME DOOT DODOOT DO DOOTING UP THE SETTINGS OR SOMETHING BUT APPARENTLY OTHER PEOPLE HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM TOO. ANY CHANCE SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS SUCH THINGS COULD TAKE A LOOK AT IT AND IDEALLY, FIX IT? THAT WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED BY BOTH MYSELF AND THE OTHER MEMBERS WHO HAVE POSTED IN THIS THREAD. IF HOWEVER I HAVE JUST DOOT DODOOT DO DOOTED UP THE SETTINGS OR SOMETHING, COULD SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME EXACTLY WHAT IT IS I PRESSED AS I DON'T RECALL HAVING LOOKED AT THE JOURNAL SETTINGS SCREEN IN SEVERAL MONTHS. I'll just post here as well to say that this is affecting me as well. I hadn't really noticed it until after the downtime, so maybe that had something to do with it?

I saw this happen the other day but figured it was just a quirk to do with timing or something. I'll have to keep an eye out for this. But yeah, probably one that's worth fixing.

It's my experience that checking the box that enables 'Show Up To 10 Per Buddy' and clicking the display button corrects the error for that instance of viewing.

It fixes it, in that it shows the most recent entry, but it also shows the older entry as well, which just creates more clutter. Since the feature is called "Most Recent Journal Entries", you expect only the most recent. There's got to be a way to fix this, since it's only happened since the last crash.

The default setting is 3 days. If there are more entries than you care to see, the dropdown does a reasonable job of filtering entries based on their relative age.

But that doesn't help. We want most recent, not the one from 3 days ago.

Well, it turns out that even choosing "Yesterday" still brings up the oldest one from Yesterday, not the last one they made... Radez made like, 4 yesterday, and the oldest is the only one I see in "Most recent", not the one about his hangover.

Oh hai guyz, still not working, fix plz.

OH BUT ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS MAKE IT SO MULTIPLE ENTRIES PER PERSON SHOW UP THAT'S A SOLUTION!




unless the person's a journal entry MACHINE and does more entries in the period you're looking through than the limit, in which case you see the 10 OLDEST entries.

I blame Tails. It's always 3 or 4 entries behind for him.

I think the journal system is completely borked.

It keeps saying that I have 3 (or more) responses since my last visit, but there's only one.
