Chocochat

Chocochat doesn't work for URL reasons. Could you guys set it to another one so it can be used?

I'd hate to start a new thread for this, so this seems a logical spot to ask. Is there anything wrong with the server for logging onto IRC? I've tried every single one with upwards of one hundred retries a piece and still no luck connecting.

I think it is not working because the ChocoChat program automatically goes to irc.xelium.net, which I heard stops redirecting to irc.psigenix.net, which is where #gfchat and all the channels now are. Xelium has been gone for some time as far as I know, but irc.xelium.net has always redirected to irc.psigenix.net until now. If you use mIRC or some other client and try connecting to irc.psigenix.net, it should work just fine. It's what I've been doing for a while and have never had any problems.

That fixed it for me, though I wonder why it's worked up until now. Either way, thanks, Bucky.

The xelium admins registered psigenix months ago and started redirecting xelium there. It was in the MOTD.

Sorry Naz, it's psigenix dot NET not dot COM For instance, xelium.com is apparently under German ownership...

Ah... good eye, sir, good eye. But still, controlled by the power of your mind? I checked it out for lulz; the random movements can, indeed, make it seem like you're trying psychically. And then there's even more programs to buy. Oh well.
