A Problem with Latest 5 Posts

Tonight's LOST was spoiled for me when I visited the front page and saw Sass's post about what happened on this week's episode.

I wouldn't have clicked on the thread, obviously, so that was a little, uh, disappointing.

If I had access to the code I'd be tempted to offer my help. I've also noticed the potential for seeing things you wouldn't want to. A simple update would be to just have the names of the threads shown in the top 5 rather than the posts themselves.

I dont know how to code this to hide spoilers so when I get home I'll try to remove the post content so it only shows thread title. I wish I had more time to take formal coding classes.

Whatever happened to old-fashioned spoiler-space (which wouldn't work, but the concept is sound), or filling up the first sentence or so of your post with nonsense? The latest posts feature will be a lot less useful if I can't use it to see what the latest comment in the thread is.

Ditto for me. Not sure how you'd address that universally though, because Slash was kind enough not to even tag anything as a spoiler. Just kind of dumped it all out there.
