GFF is a hellhole full of elitists who chat about everything EXCEPT games. We have a team of dedicated moderators who will ban your ass on the slightest provocation, constant member-organized activities that you are not allowed to participate in, and plenty of custom features, including our unique journal system where you can post entries that will be completely ignored. If this is your first visit, be sure to check out the FAQ or our GFWiki. You will have to register before you can post. Although membership is completely free (and gets rid of the pesky advertisement unit underneath this message) we do not recommend that you sign up, because you will get kicked in the nuts repeatedly.

Concert Hall props - should they be visible?
In regards to the Props & Disses section of the main page, it just occurred to me: should props that originate from the Concert Hall forum be visible? I'm not saying people there shouldn't prop; by all means, prop as much as you like. But I think it would just be more clean and accessible if these props were given the same treatment as Audio Request props.
Just a suggestion, and I'm sure it'll be one that divides opinions. May as well put it out there though. |

Props made in My Stuff and its subforums are visible on the main page. It's Concert Hall/My Stuff posts that don't turn up.
Either way, I don't really care what happens with this. The Thing - "Humanity (Part II)" Get the Flash Player to play this audio file: Composed and Conducted by Ennio Morricone |

Who cares, really. There's not even any link to the propped/dissed posts on the front page.

Slightly wrong, Face.
When you click the Last 50 link for the Props and Disses, clicking the thread name associated with that prop/diss will lead you to the post itself. As for me, I don't really care too much for it either. |

Alright, I stand corrected.
50 is a lot, though. As it stands, I don't think Concert Hall props are cluttering up the page.

Jesus, why don't we just get the Concert Hall their own fucking url too while we're at it?

![]() Keeping them on the list goes a bit of a ways towards the whole making CH part of GFF proper again movement Bucky's so fond of though, no point in taking a fat dump all over that just because we can't see who's collectively brownnosing each other without being interrupted by some weirdos with no teeth that no one cares about giving each other gummy blowjobs for sharing sheetmusic. ![]()

Maybe then the answer lies in removing prop/diss priviledges from anyone with a 50% or higher CH posting bias. We could also make people in this category have some kind of symbol in their postbit to indicate their lesser status, maybe a small, yellow star of David or something.
The final step of course will be to round them all up and pack them into trains off to "re-education" camps where they can work towards the betterment of GFF society from a controlled position, one with plenty of showers and a big old furnace... Remember, remember the Fifth of November

Where's Dubble to do his Al Jolson? ![]() And though we are not now that strength which in old days Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are--- One equal temper of heroic hearts, Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield. |
