Media Center suggestion

So, I was thinking about something. Perhaps the Media Center should be split into a general forum and subforums for Movies, TV, and Theatre, Art and Design, Books, and Music, much like it is on another forum I lurk at. You know, to keep everything from getting too cluttered. We already have subforums devoted to comics and sports.

Why stop there.

We can even have subforums for newspapers, magazines, pamphlets, digests and audio books.

A board usually separates if there is too much of a cluster of new topics coming in. Before GFF went down, there weren't enough new posts to exceed the first page every day, so I don't think there's a high enough amount of new posts to justify this.

I'm not a huge fan of subforums and I think we already have to much of them, so no thanks.

The idea has been suggested before, and the main prbolem is that most of the forums wouldn't have much activity. The rare book threads that could be found in the Media Centre on old GFF was far too few to make an active forum. Art & Design is already covered by the Creator's Café, so it would be useless, and Movie and TV should be in the same forum, imo, so no use making something else for that. I would like to see a seperate music forum though, mich like the exposure club, but bigger than that.
