Where the fuck is my Sega forum.

Seriously, for a gaming company made in 1940, and for one which is still serving us games (and has served consoles and handhelds), it deserves it's own forum.

We could even talk about games! Fancy that? Well, I might be going overboard there, but I'm pretty sure people talk about video games here. This doesn't sound like the greatest idea in the world since Sega is pretty much a developer for Nintendo/Sony/Microsoft's consoles now, but aside from what they're making, what they've made can't be discussed since there's no place here to talk about them.

Once you open that can of worms people will start demanding a Square Enix forum, then a Capcom forum, ect.

Sounds like a bad idea, if you want to discuss the games Sega releases, discuss them on the appropriate hardware forum in which the game was released on~

As far as the past, what can be said that hasnt been said? More speculation on what Sega coulda whoulda shoulda done?

There used to be, 'til the Dreamcast committed suicide. But General Gaming has many exciting reasons to exist, one of them being retro threads for games not linked to old Nintendo consoles or the PSone!

Uh, Capcom and Square are game developers, they haven't released handhelds as well as consoles in the past. Sega has a significant history in the gaming industry and it's the only one being ignored here.

As much as I love Sega I prefer not to have a forum devoted to them. They're a 3rd party publisher now and probably wouldn't have enough discussion to warrent a forum. And most of their new games are crappy now anyway.

Please leave.

This message is directed at the post directly above me as well as the post at the top of this thread.

Elixir, seriously, you can discuss Sega shit in GVG.

This post brought to you by my inexplicable mean streak tonight

Well, since Miles dismissed it, I suppose there's no point leaving this open.

Hey, it was only an idea. Think; if Nintendo died, would Mario's Warp Room be shut down? Probably not, so if this were 2000, there would be a Sega forum, and it would have been shut down in 2002. Did this even happen? Probably not.

But it isn't 2000, so I suppose everyone here keeps up with the times.

There used to be a forum called "Sonic's Speedway."
