Closed threads should be red instead of grey, to make them stand out even more, and all threads made by Elixir should have the name changed to a bunch of marqueed scrolling gifs of AZUMANGA RAVE DAIOH.

Now that they are yellow, the ''Important'' part could be removed. Also, I personally would prefer this colour (it's more mellow).

Good job, though. A different colour will be more effective than the bolded ''important''.

Personally, I liked "Imporant" the best. But I'm all for a more mellow and less...ummm...audacious colouring scheme than we have now. Especially if colours are here to stay.

As it stands now, it is starting to look like April Fools all over again.

I personally like the yellow, but maybe a brownish/gold yellow is in order. I don't think the green would show up quite as well against the blue.

I am not sure what I should think about these new colors. I think we should keep the "Important" tag instead of going 'yay colorz' now.

I love you guys, I almost choked on my drink reading this thread.

I'm testing out Aard's proposal now. I should do more ad hoc modifications of this kind, since it seems to be very effective in drawing out comments and suggestions.

Colours are great, as long as they are at least somewhat matching and not too loud. The board could use some more colours here and there, not just five different variations of dark blue.

You're close on this suggestion, REALLY CLOSE, but I would like to offer a slight adjustment to it: make the thread title simply be grey. You know, like a closed thread. In fact, so much like a closed thread that it even has the little locked icon beside it. And regular users can't post in it.

So is this feature gone now (since the stickied threads are now back to their normal color), or is somebody just working on it? I personally didn't like (mainly because it made it hard to tell if there were any new posts in the thread), so I hope it's the former.

You know, I prefer five different variations of dark blue over some kind of a rainbow forum anytime. Neither do we want this place to look like a hang-out for gays nor do we want our epileptics to run away, yes?
