Fragile Online was pretty sloppy; didn't interest me in more at all.

The Woodsoft one was good, just nothing I was interested and no hook.

The unknown track was ok. Shouldn't be allowed with no info though. Regardless, nothing poor, but uninteresting for me.

T-Wave was an easy call.

Fragile Online Best Vol 2 Retro Games - Daiundoukai Medley
I like the chaotic piano within the song, although I'm usually not a fan of remixes of classical songs. 2nd place!

Woodsoft ~ YK-2 C ~ Yuzo Koshiro Game Music Arranged - Patron's Mountain
Easily dues to rock bias. It doesn't go anywhere, and there's no particularly catchy riff, but in comparison to the other three, I prefer this style.

OC ReMix - Turtle Wave
Somewhat happy go lucky with a pulsating rhythm. All right.

No Album - Kare wa Tetai no Chi
Military drum rhythms turn me off. Decent otherwise. Too much dramatic instrumentation for my liking.

To Kare wa Tetai no Chi: I try to normally be unbiased, but I'm sorry, I have an agenda in a specifically themed contest. A fan work should be about hitting 11 on the volume knob or turning something upside down on its head. I need a doujin work to punch me in the face. As there is, as Liontamer pointed out, no real information on you as a nomination, so whether you are an entirely original work or not, I couldn't say, but who goes out of there way to make a slow and steady symphony remix.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that 33.3 percent of rpg music already sounds like you, and your impersonation is spot on, but you're unnecessary.

Patron's Mountain rocked, it brought the energy, but Turtle Wave outdoes it. Hope these two move on. The more I hear of Mazedude, the more I like his stuff.

Some potential here, especially in the piano, but a lot of time it sounded like the instruments (especially the guitar) weren't playing together properly, and it felt messy as a result.

099 Woodsoft ~ YK-2 C ~ Yuzo Koshiro Game Music Arranged - Patron's Mountain
Frenetic synthy goodness with embellishments. Simplistic at times, but I liked it.

100 OC ReMix - Turtle Wave
Hm, I was expecting something with a bit more energy I guess. But still a terrific song that I felt like dancing to (fortunately for onlookers, I did not). Fantastic.

175 No Album - Kare wa Tetai no Chi
Orchestral-style track with a really weak leading trumpet; I dunno what's up with that, but until it's joined by other instruments, it sounds like the brass is being played by a ten-year-old with tiny lungs. The rest is good, if not wholly memorable.

Turtle Wave is the clear winner here for me.

Daiundoukai Medley is sloppy overall. That puts a big damper on the enjoyment factor. Nice arrangement ideas, though.

Kare wa Tetai no Chi is a mixed bag. Some rather nice moments are mixed with pretty blah ones in about an even proportion.

Patron's Mountain is pleasantly synthy, but it doesn't really do anything to stand out. Despite not really having any hooks, I thought the melody was pretty decent. Definitely fit the type of song.

Turtle Wave is a fun track. The source is already good, which helps a lot, but there are all sorts of good moments. I like it and Patron's Mountain pretty evenly, but Turtle Wave has more to offer, so it gets my vote.

I didn't deliver it without information, that's just how it arrived. :/

It's from Yuzo Koshiro. I don't even particularly like the arrangement (I mean, I don't hate it, it does a great job of what it wants to do), but I love the songs, that's the main reason I nominated it. I probably like the second half best, which is a shame in itself cause I'm sure half of you guys haven't even heard it.

However, I admit that Turtle Wave is pretty awesome as well. Not much has been done with the (already incredible) original, but it's pleasant. I really wish they hadn't used the samples from WAVE (Jeroen Tel) - 9 1 1, that's kinda annoying. Especially when you consider 9 1 1 is one of the best songs ever made, this just sounds like a poor copy by comparison.
