GFF is a hellhole full of elitists who chat about everything EXCEPT games. We have a team of dedicated moderators who will ban your ass on the slightest provocation, constant member-organized activities that you are not allowed to participate in, and plenty of custom features, including our unique journal system where you can post entries that will be completely ignored. If this is your first visit, be sure to check out the FAQ or our GFWiki. You will have to register before you can post. Although membership is completely free (and gets rid of the pesky advertisement unit underneath this message) we do not recommend that you sign up, because you will get kicked in the nuts repeatedly.

I almost had to flip a coin on this one, but then I decided to man up, and ultimately gave my vote La Hora es Tarde. The drums on it are way weaker than the percussive assualt that Warrior King provides, but the guitar tone is so good, and the playing is so focused. House makes it all sound so easy as well.
The internal struggle on this one was pretty immense. Both amazing tracks. |

housethegrate's arrangements are always solidly put together, with impeccable performance and production. This is certainly no less true with La Hora es Tarde.
To my ears, Warrior King seems to suffer from slightly tinny production that puts too much emphasis on the upper frequencies (cymbals especially). And that ending... the song goes through an entire journey, then ends quite abruptly and anticlimactically. Seems that virt is edged out on this one. ![]() A light on the water... all souls pass...

This was a very difficult choice to make, since both of these tracks are excellent. However, after listening to both again, I voted for Warrior King. I found that "La Hora Es Tarde" seemed to drag a bit toward the end (just slightly), whilst Warrior King was dynamic, and engaging the whole way through. Its a toss up I guess, as both deserve to move on.
