Narrowly give it to WORRY. Both tracks are average to me, with "Wicked Child" clearly being better performed and put together, but WORRY's "Bloom Nobly" being a more interesting listen in terms of the composition. Could go either way at any time, but I'll call it for the Touhou arrange.

This one is a real toss up for me. I really enjoyed both, and am glad I came back to Gamingforce for this contest if only to hear these two fan arranges that I've never experienced before.
Bloom Nobly seems to have slightly more variety in progression and composition, although Wicked Child is certainly varied and creative in its own right. The drums of Wicked Child particularly strike me as keeping a more-interesting-than-typical rhythm. The ending to Bloom Nobly is a rather abrupt shock for a song with its delicate mood, although Wicked Child's is only a little better in that there could be more to it, but it still works. But ever-so-slightly, I have to favor Bloom Nobly's mood, pace, and delicate nature. Really, for me, this one just comes down to nothing but personal preference. ![]() A light on the water... all souls pass... |

I like the synthiness; more would have helped push this into the lime green pile of goodness. 210 - K-Style Konami Arrange - Wicked Child I liked parts of it, but it planted the seeds of a future headache as well. Them bloomin' cherry blossies 'as a slight advantage. ![]() From goop we came, to goop we return.

Sorry, but Bloom Nobly is like the boring side of Wild Arms music. Not without its good parts, mind, but it needed something more. Even then, certain days this sort of arrangement may sway me, but something like Wicked Child isn't going to be topped by something wishy-washy, sorry again.

This pairing really is rather well matched and of equal quality. I'll have to simply give it to Wicked Child since I prefer rock over most else. Nothing against the Touhou song, but synth usually strongly detracts from a song whenever I hear it. I'm easily fooled if the rock instrumentation is even just passable.
