I'm not a big fan of Preludio's arrangements, since they simply don't just click with me and sound far too synthy for my taste. Even if it's only for the rocking 00:27-00:51, and even if the rest is rocking but rather aimless, I like Catacombs Beneath the Twilight much better. Sure it's messy, but I like messy that uses the instrumentation I like.

I supported Preludio up until now, but the time has come to switch sides. Both are decent but Catacombs ist just a blink better.

Catacombs Beneath the Twilight sounds like some brilliant kind of rock jazz. It's so crazy I love it.
The synth sax on Battle 1 ~ Battle 3 just makes me cringe, and ignoring that it seems to be a decent arrangement, nothing too special.  A light on the water... all souls pass... |
