I voted for Suzaku. It's not necessarily something I'd listen to all that often but goddammit people IT'S DIFFERENT! It's not a bland indy tune or some naff metal, it's lively and upbeat and interesting and deserves far more than that other forgettable drivel to go through to the next round.

Rx Bandits sounds like something I'd actually like to hear live. I think it would work quite well. The track itself isn't anything spectacular, but it seems like a great band.

The other, well it's the kind of stuff that plays in the background of 4chan related youtube videos... which is not ok with me.

I love RX Bandits and saw them at Warped Tour back in 2002 where, among Bad Religion, Flogging Molly, MxPx, The Casualties and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, they somehow managed to stand out as one of the best bands ever to play modern-ska on the Vans stage. If you ever get to catch them live, you have to do everything in your power to make sure you see that show.

The other tune, while not intolerable by any means, certainly isn't up to snuff on the chillout and spine-bending flow of Dinna-Dawg~

EDIT:
I don't know who nominated this but a little help would rock. The only two albums of theirs that I have are "Halfway Between Here and There" and "Progress" and this song isn't on either one of them. If the nominator could upload this whole album, that'd be pretty awesome.

Just because it's different than most of what's been nominated doesn't mean it's innovative and groundbreaking. It's the same as any other mediocre techno, to me. I didn't find RX Bandit's tune all that special, but it's a hell of a lot better than that Suzaku track.

The RX Bandit song is not so special. I mean, I could get into it, but only if this was at some event or something.

But damn, that Konami arcade stuff is not really any more remarkable.

I'm not the nominator, but I have the album (The Resignation). I uploaded it to Rapidshare.

I put this song up, but Aardark beat me to it. If you liked the track i nommed, i think you'll probably like The Resignation plenty. Lots of variety within their style to enjoy from song to song.

Then there's "...Amd the Battle Begun", their most recent album - it's also pretty solid though not at the level of Resignation (big shoes to fill).

They released a few albums before the Resignation which I haven't had a chance to check out, so if you ever do, don't hesitate to drop me a PM with some reviews!

Not that it'll save it from defeat, but I'm gonna go ahead and defend Anisakis.

RX sounds like a band that tried to be hardcore, but failed IMO. I'm just not feeling their sounds.

Anisakis, well, I can't say anything bad about it, as it's my 3rd favorite song on the IIDX 15 DJ Troopers OST behind Ristaccia and Reminiscence. The speed of the song, the speed of the keys in the first half of the song, just so captivating.
Until it arrives...

I know I'm in the minority but I like fast-paced techno beats. Though the Suzaku track wasn't revolutionary within its genre, I ultimately found it more interesting than the otherwise decent ska offering.
