I have to say that I bloody love Hotel California. One of the earliest guitar piece I've ever played.
[edit] Also like to note that Romeo New wasn't all that bad to me. But I can't vote for HC.

Hotel California is a song that I'm sure every north american over the age of 25 has heard so many times in their lifetime that they could easily go without hearing it again. That doesn't make it bad, that is just the nature of combining a popular song with the passing of 30 years. Who over the age of 25 cares one way or another about hearing Stairway to Heaven, or Freebird, or one of the many other iconic classic rock songs?

I don't particularly hate either of these songs. However, since the teachers at my Christian secondary school thought Hotel California was blasphemous, I guess I'm just going to have to VOTE FOR SATAN.

Since I like both of these songs I can't really choose to vote for either. I don't think 'over-played' really counts as 'bad', though it seems to have been a selection tool for a lot of people.

Hotel California. I don't need to listen to the songs. I don't care, don't give a shit. I hate The Eagles.
And not just because The Dude hates them either. I mean, this is a bad that dethroned fucking THRILLER for most albums sold. I cannot explain their success without multiple Satanic pacts being involved. Christ almighty...  |
