D is probably the weakest bracket in the contest. So it's understandable how a song like Lagoon claimed two victories to this point. It's not a round 3 song, however, by any stretch.
As for Loading Theme, provided Mud Level doesn't stop it (it will), it's taking the bracket. How were those C64 load times anyway? Judging from the running time of this track, they must have been atrocious.

As a C64 track, The Great Giana Sisters (C64) - Loading Theme scores bonus points for not having lacks annoying trills and SFX. The melody isn't very compelling for me, though the rhythm is better.
Fury of the Furries (Adlib) - Lagoon 2 is a terribly banal track, with nothing but a jagged electronic rhythm and a bad name. If you like watching paint dry or enjoy NASCAR, this is the track for you. Giana Sisters.  From goop we came, to goop we return.

Even though I really enjoy Lagoon 2, The Great Giana Sisters is just too amazing. Loading Theme is bouncy, fun, catchy, and has a bit of 80's style that I love. It's one of those songs I would vote for over some of my own noms (mostly because I was going to nominate this if no one else had).
