Cold Winter Original Game Music Score - Really cool; dark, full, emotional strings mixed with drums, piano, choir. Kind of like Furious Angels?
Super Off-Road - SNES rock from the Follin bros.

Currently playing: Nothing

Both tracks made me think last time, and I allowed them both to narrowly pass through my thoughts unharmed, but I can't find anything but negativity about both tracks; "Simple Stars ~ Terrestrial Trax ~ Solar Sizzle" is not as bad as its opponent. Ok, I jest, it's not that bad at all.

"Level 1" is, though.

Fuzzy's World is a little cheesy, but it's grown on me a bit and I enjoy the simple, light-heartedness it has. And what, Altered Beast is still around?? Ha ha, never figured it'd make it this far. I didn't think much of the theme while playing the game at the arcades or while playing it as the first Genesis game ever, but it seems to have grown on me a bit too, now that I've listened to it isolated from the game. I don't remember that latter section, which I kinda dig. So screw it, gotta support my old school Gen here. Altered Beast baby.

I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank all the kind souls using Simple Stars as their instrument of might to strike down that dreadful Superman track last round. From the bottom of my heart, really.

Level 1 is okay, but terribly longwinded. Simple Stars is more fun and always on the move, and probably has the better melody anyway.

Ugh.

God, let's just vote Silver Stars to get Altered Beast the fuck out of here.

Fuzzy's World of Miniature Space Golf (Adlib) - Simple Stars ~ Terrestrial Trax ~ Solar Sizzle still doesn't sit well with me. I haven't voted for it yet in the contest, despite generally poor opposition.

Altered Beast (Gen) - Level 1 has an okay melody, though Gustav Holst called and he wants the opening to "Mars" back.

Judging by the results, my vote won't make a whole lot of difference. I will therefore give in to naked bias and vote for Level 1.

I think Uzuki is right in the other thread; these songs may move on to the semi-finals, but there are no winners here. If I'm not actively voting against all these, I'm deciding with coin flips.

Bracket D is actually my second favorite. I really like both of these, so this is pretty tough.

I'll give it to Altered Beast for being more intriguing, I guess.
