Latest music rips (updated April 11, 2008):

Cold Winter Original Game Music Score - Really cool; dark, full, emotional strings mixed with drums, piano, choir. Kind of like Furious Angels?
Super Off-Road - SNES rock from the Follin bros.

Currently playing: Nothing

Play-Asia - Japanese CDs, game soundtracks, game imports, & more

What else do I listen to?

I'm all for obscure, but it's going to pain me to help send either one of these into the bracket finals. Mud Level is slop, Fuzzy is phone-hold muzak. Bleh...

Vote for muzak.

Fuzzy beat out one of my noms in Round 2, so it's not on my favorites list. Plus Mud Level just plain rocks, so this is an easy pairing.

Man, Mud Level is awesome. It's a little all over the place at times, but somehow the lack of coherency adds to its power in a good way. One of the most memorable tunes in the contest, too.

Simple Stars ~ Terrestrial Trax ~ Solar Sizzle is pretty nice, too. Seems like it's the opposite of Mud Level in style, though. Instead of being all in-your-face and sometimes bipolar, the melody is smooth and subtly develops into something more. I quite like the result, even if the end of the track leaves me slightly unsatisfied with the development.

A little bit of a hard decision here, but when push comes to shove I guess I prefer the brash style of Mud Level over the simple approach of Solar Sizzle.

Eh..."Simple Stars ~ Terrestrial Trax ~ Solar Sizzle" is beginning to bore me. Even with its brevity though (*rolls eyes*), "Mud Level" is clearly the better chiptune to me, here.

I don't like either of these, and I don't think I've voted for either in their long road to this matchup, one strewn with the graves of superior songs.

Mud Level may be annoying, even frustrating, for me, but it wins over Fuzzy.
