Tough call.
Tearing Up Spacetime is absolutely wonderful. Great trance-like synth music that's not boring in the slightest. It has a mesmeric quality that sustains my interest and it's got some very smooth transitions. Blue Resort is fun, fluffy and rather memorable. Acid Tetris - Tearing Up Spacetime gets my vote because it already prompted me to download the entire album, and Tearing Up Spacetime has already been burned to a CD that's currently in my car. But I give a sympathetic nod to Bomberman 64. In another pairing, it likely would've received my vote. |

I voted for Bomberman before so it gets my vote again, besides, acid tetris isn't my cup of tea.

061 Acid Tetris — Tearing up Spacetime (C)
241 Bomberman 64 — Blue Resort (A) Tearing up Spacetime got a nice groove, and it's pretty solid overall. Not too exciting, but I guess I can live with that. Blue Resort surprises me with a rather cool melody, but overall, Tearing up Spacetime seems to be slightly better, so it will get my vote. ![]() Shushkevich sued the Belarusian Ministry of Labor and Social Security: due to inflation, his retirement pension as a former head of state was the equivalent of one dollar and 80 cents monthly. |

I like Tearing Up Spacetime better now than I did in Round 1, where I considered it the lesser of two evils. It's just a pity it got reshuffled up against Blue Resort, because here the only problem is it's the lesser of two goods.
DAMN good coffee!

You know what? I'm actually finding this a painful vote. Tearing up Spacetime is tracker music down to the core (my suspicions were confirmed when the S3M was posted) in terms of almost everything. I let this bastard run for 20 minutes on my computer. It was awesome.
Blue Resort is my HM though, and even if it wasn't, it's just plain better. Vote |

I voted for Tearing Up Spacetime as a mediocre track in a weak pairing. I voted for Blue Resort in the Prelims because it's good. I voted against it last round because I thought Towards a Blue Sky was even better, but wasn't going to hold a grudge if it went on because it's just that good.
Blue Resort gets a vote. |

Blue Resort uses accordion in a surprisingly calming way, much like having "resort" in the name should imply. I liked it before, and I like it again. Tearing Up Spacetime just didn't click with me, even with the standard beat in the background which I usually love.

"Blue Resort" was a great listen for me in round 1 and it continues to charm me in round 2. But never did I expect to find myself calling "Tearing up Spacetime" awesome. Okay, it has some flaws but it's still one terrific track.
I think therefore I am... I think.

I'm really surprised how cool Tetris music can be...

Aw fuck, what a shame that spacetime is losing. It's a track that seemed kind-of annoying at first, but now it's actually one of my favourite tracks in the contest. Very cool melody. The other song is not bad, but if spacetime is eliminated, that will really suck.

Acid Tetris — Tearing up Spacetime
Hey, very cool track. Dance and trance. It's got no real remarkable melody, but these tracks are about the right rhythmic feeling and progression. It does a good job. Bomberman 64 — Blue Resort Haha. Blue Resort is ocean of sugary cutesy. I might possibly not be able to resist. I was right. |
: 061 Acid Tetris — Tearing up Spacetime (C) : 241 Bomberman 64 — Blue Resort (A)Gotta love dat tracker muzax. Tearing up Spacetime is all about the groove, and I likes me some groove. Blue Resort is a rare happy song I don't like altogether that much. ![]() |
