Difficult pairing, but not as hard as Fire Wire vs Wandering Ghosts.
Idola "The Strange Fruits" is something I hear anywhere I go...It's among my top favorite songs right now and I can't get enough of it. Everything about this song is perfectly placed: percussion, the electronica, the orchestra, the melody, the choir. Amazing track. I really dig Legendary Theme, but it feels far too "normal" compared to the monster that is Strange Fruits. It's great for what it is, but I've never been anywhere near as addicted to it as I am with Idola (or even compared to other Gitarooman tracks). I won't begrudge it if it wins, but I'm clearly pulling for Idola here.

9.5/10 ''IDOLA'' The Strange Fruits
This song for me is in SERIOUS danger of becoming old. Every weekday since the end of august, I've listened to this track twice - once while heading to class and again while returning. Thats makes up for about 80 times in the last 2 months. But every time I listen to it, I'm still intrigued. The instruments are placed perfectly to give a rare feel that surpasses almost every other track. It's just too bad so many people are turned away by this song. 4/10 The Legendary Theme (Album Version) This makes for an absolutely easy decision for me... why? because The Legendary Theme doesn't have that extra boost that raises it from the category of good to amazing. It's an obvious but blank melody, which may initially be interesting, but is definitely not the song I'd want to listen to 4 hours straight. |

Legendary Theme is an all-time great. If anything's keeping Bobelo from the championship, this is it. IDOLA isn't as abrasive as it was the first few times I've heard it, but I don't think I'll ever put it in the same class as the former.
DAMN good coffee!

232 Gitarooman — The Legendary Theme (Album Version) (B)
018 Phantasy Star Online Episode III C.A.R.D. Revolution — ''IDOLA'' The Strange Fruits (E) The Legendary Theme kicked out one of my top nominations last round, which doesn't give it extra points, but it still rocks. The other track which has a very long track name seems a bit strange to me (how could it make it that far ??!) so I gonna vote for Legendary Theme. ![]() Shushkevich sued the Belarusian Ministry of Labor and Social Security: due to inflation, his retirement pension as a former head of state was the equivalent of one dollar and 80 cents monthly. |

Oh dear GODDAMMIT. WTF IS WITH YOU AARD? SO EVIL MAKING ME PICK BETWEEN SO MANY GOOD SONGS.
TLT is less special than IDOLA, because IDOLA is just so much fucking amazing in one little package. |

"The Legendary Theme" has always been a favourite of mine in various contests/features. It's very accessible and agreeable. But against the really awesome "The Strange Fruits", I'm afraid it does pale somewhat.
I think therefore I am... I think.
