"Malicious Fingers" pretty easily. Just wasn't interested in any of the others. "Cayenne" from PMM was a decidedly different take on the original than I'm used to, but it just wasn't my cup of tea. MTS's stuff was too repetitive, while "Absolute Flower" had no hook for me.

021 - Project Majestic Mix Gold Edition - Cayenne
Very languid piano piece with some synth washes and ambient effects as spice. I liked this one quite a bit; it's the sort of dark piano piece I enjoy.

073 - Sephiroth - Abortive Flower
Very nice new age piece with some neat percussion and sitar (!). I might have voted for this one if it had been put up for SotW, despite its eligibility iffiness.

178 - Sonic and Knuckles Project Chaos - Malicious Fingers
Ah, I recognize the source tune here. Some nice synth rock stuff, but also some crazy noodling and weird surround sound tricks.

196 - CADENZA Gyakuten Saiban 1 - Pressing Pursuit ~ Cornered
I certainly didn't expect this track to sound like it did, moving from a deceptively new-age opening into riproaring synth rock. Not bad, but there's not enough content for the whole five minutes of song.

The first half of Cayenne was way too boring, and the bombastic second half came out of nowhere and was interesting for at least twenty seconds. This would be significantly better if the three orchestral minutes were the whole of the mix.

Sound quality was clearly not a priority at all for Abortive Flower, but it's a decent, town theme-ish take on Touhou crudz. Agreeing with Liontamer that there wasn't a decent hook in the melody; I think that would've helped a lot.

Definitely feeling the SnappleMan love with Malicious Fingers, making the Sonic 3 final boss theme not suck quite so much. Some really good synth and guitar stuff in the second half.

Gotta vote for Pressing Pursuit ~ Cornered, my favorite track from CADENZA, though. Definitely repetitive; I'm not going to try to defend that because I can't. The track could definitely stand being shorter, but I don't really mind with it. One BASS SOLO point coming up.

What a very dramatic song, starting with thunderstorms, going into piano, and then moving into a military style. Interesting take on the source material.

Sephiroth - Abortive Flower
Strangely sounds fitting to be calm ending credits style music.

Of course, needless to say rock bias again, ignoring the weird intro.

Oh I wish that rocking part after the first couple of seconds was more spread out over the whole song.
