Latest music rips (updated April 11, 2008):
Cold Winter Original Game Music Score - Really cool; dark, full, emotional strings mixed with drums, piano, choir. Kind of like Furious Angels? Super Off-Road - SNES rock from the Follin bros. Currently playing: Nothing Play-Asia - Japanese CDs, game soundtracks, game imports, & more What else do I listen to?

Endless Mine... pfffft. Chrome Gadget is the best of the Multiplayer tracks. Don't even waste my time with this second-class shit.
Hades Castle isn't the most complex track, but boy does it make me want to go kick some ass. That's a good thing in my book.

Death Smiles - Hades Castle (Stage Final-1)
Not the finest example of the whole rock opera style, but good enough! Sonic the Hedgehog 3 - Endless Mine Second-tier Sonic at best. Energertic but not terribly memorable. Hadescastle. ![]() 2008 NaNoWriMo Word Count: 32140/50000 |

"Hades Castle (Stage Final-1)" is one of those tracks that just presents the whole package and pulls no punches in trying to impress the listener. All the instrumental touches are good, the gothic vibe is well-done and the hints of melody are fantastic when they shine through sporadically. Grade-A stuff, there's no question.
"Endless Mine" is a really ^__________^ kind of track. I like ^_________^'ness~! The melody here is really strong and memorable, and the whole tone is ridiculously joyous. I love my music simple and endearing, and this track has those qualities in bucket loads. Tough choice, but I'll have to give Death Smiles the nod here. (also 0:30 is really cool) "Hades Castle (Stage Final-1)" - 9/10 "Endless Mine" - 8.5/10 ![]() |
