Latest music rips (updated April 11, 2008):

Cold Winter Original Game Music Score - Really cool; dark, full, emotional strings mixed with drums, piano, choir. Kind of like Furious Angels?
Super Off-Road - SNES rock from the Follin bros.

Currently playing: Nothing

Play-Asia - Japanese CDs, game soundtracks, game imports, & more

.............

"Floater Land" is both a stunning performance and a masterful composition. Just about everything is executed to the best of its ability, and the melodic payoff is really great.

(Is "Will's Theme" dead? You bastards.) "Proud Soldier (Gage's Theme)" doesn't have the class or overall elegance of its opponent, but it's still an awesome listen. The celtic-rock fusion is achieved without too much hassle, and ends up sounding pretty damn cool in all honesty. In all honesty: this is a great track. In all honesty: I think I prefer it to "Floater Land"..!

"Floater Land" - 9/10
"Proud Soldier (Gage's Theme)" - 9.3ish/10 avenge your fallen comrade, soldier

diana, where is my prize?

Wow this sucks. Floater Land is my nom and my favorite out of the whole Galaxy OST, but I love Proud Soldier a lot and have been supporting it as much as possible. Don't know if I can make a choice here. brb shooting self

This was tougher than I thought it would be. Proud Soldier is likable, but it's downfall is that it's sound isn't as clean or elegant as what Floater Land is offering.

Notwithstanding that the title makes it sound like a tune about a shit that won't flush, I vaguely prefer the ripoff of the music from Lawrence of Arabia that is Floater Land to the horrible electro-rock of the other tune. Whoever thought synthesised bagpipes was a good idea in any piece of music needs to take up a different hobby, probably one that doesn't involve writing music.

Floater Land's solid, but I can get into Proud Soldier's Celtic rock (or whatever you want to label it) more.

Shit, I guess I missed my chance to vote for Proud Soldier, even though I really like both tracks. Still, Gage would have needed two additional votes to win.
