Damn, you're right =(
Those GFF database errors yesterday confused me a lot. ![]() ![]() When a musician believes that music is a commodity, music dies in them. |

I liked all of them, they either had something fresh or fun about them, but I'll vote for The furthest place ~ The Brink of Time. It's the kind of drawn out, repetitive track that I like, especially considering the simplistic source material.

: 004 - OCRemix - No One Can Do It Better : 165 The Days after Destruction -Latin Fusion Mix- : 249 - Amigaremix - Medieval Lemmings Remix : 134 - Resolution Trigger - The furthest place ~ The Brink of TimeI was expecting good things from The furthest place ~ The Brink of Time once the b33tz kicked in, but sadly the groove wasn't well developed enough. I can't really decide if the harpsichord and piano/harpsichord breaks hurt or help the song. Medieval Lemmings Remix isn't bad, but kinda just there. The big fat repeat in the middle didn't help. I'm unsure which aspects of The Days after Destruction -Latin Fusion Mix- are the Latin fusion. I'm not feeling the percussion at all, and I didn't really think the two themes were cohesively woven together. Loving the solo, though. No One Can Do It Better is a nice classic mix by djp. Groovy, and the source picks up some nostalgia points from me, so big ups there. Repetition gets a bit annoying by the time the EP improvisation section comes in. |

004 No One Can Do It Better
Laid-back to the point of coma induction; I was kinda bored. 134 The furthest place - The Brink of Time Interesting mix, though it started to repeat itself when I thought it was about to develop into something more satisfying. 165 The Days after Destruction -Latin Fusion Mix- Decent loungy mix was actually rather close to the original in tone and style, when I thought of it. 249 Medieval Lemmings Remix Medieval remixes can be mightily boring, but there's wasn't a whole lot medieval about this mix, and it was kind of fun. I think I'll edit out the opening vocal sample in Audacity though. I remember Lemmings on my old PowerPC Mac; that nostalgia plus some kickin' beats tip the scales in its favor. ![]() 2008 NaNoWriMo Word Count: 33004/50000 |

The two current leaders are kinda bland, especially No One Can Do It Better. So I´ll have to pick either The Days after Destruction or Medieval Lemmings Remix - both are pretty good. I guess I´ll decide in favor of The Days after Destruction here.

OCRemix - No One Can Do It Better
Cheesy little groove going on that's sort of happy. Resolution Trigger - The furthest place ~ The Brink of Time Making it an upbeat remix, I too was expecting even nicer stuff as it went on. I don't like the way they handled the little creepy part that the original had, by using the pizzicato that I could barely hear in comparison to the piano. The Days after Destruction -Latin Fusion Mix- I wouldn't classify this as Latin Fusion but I like the use of piano and electric guitar in the first and second halves respectively, despite not particular being fond of some of the source material used. Amigaremix - Medieval Lemmings Remix Sounds rather cowboyish to me. ![]() Constellational, Bear Trap Utilizing, Legendary Hero, Galactic Bunny Wizard |
