Beneath the surface: I love the hell out of this source; Dave Wise is the man. Great rotary effect on the guitar. Pretty tough competition to live up to.
Wandering Ghosts: Too much reverb; I suppose it was used to cover the bad samples. Really hurts this one. Sounds like a decent arrangement though somewhere in there.:-( Ok, wasn't even close for me. Beneath the surface is so much better. |

"Wandering Ghosts" is just too dated. "Beneath the Surface" clearly takes it to another level.

092 - Kong in Concert - Beneath The Surface
I don't like the original Kong tracks by and large, nor do I generally like lounge stuff. Strangely, the combination of the two is better than either individually. 010 - timsheehy - Wandering Ghosts (Latin Mix) A little long, but otherwise quite nice even though I don't normally go in for Latin.
