Nothing against Wanted Man, but it sounds paper thin next to Beneath the Surface.
I got more moves than a U-Haul.

As far as I'm concerned, a match-up between Beneath the Surface and Final Elegy is championship-worthy. I'm hoping it happens, as agonizing as the choice may be.

For someone who usually favors somber pieces, I found this pairing unusually difficult. S.S.H.'s track just packs SUCH energy. Those driving drums and guitars, even synth as they are, are impressively all over the place.

But in the end, Beneath the Surface, with its variety of actual instruments electric & acoustic, creates such an enveloping wave-like soundscape that I really can't escape to bother giving Decisive Battle another listen. The Aquatic Ambiance arrange it is!

A light on the water... all souls pass...
