The Elliott Smith song wasn't as interesting as it was made out to be. I was hoping for something less downkey.
Now, "Funny Little Frog" is a really nice retro-throwback song. I really like the instrumentation and musicality of this one a lot.  Classic J-Pop Volume 22 |

God, you assholes! This is such an unfair pairing because both are fucking phenomenal songs and I must, unfortunately, choose only one. We have one of Smith's greatest songs ever vs. a beautiful Belle & Sebastian song.
 I guess it's all in the mood and right now I'm in the upbeat mood that Belle & Sebastian puts me in.... Except that, you know, Elliott Smith is Elliott Smith. But then again.... AAAAAAAAAAAAARGGH!!!!  |

 I do like both songs, by the way, but pitting one of Smith's best against a lesser Belle & Sebastian tune made things much easier on me. |
