Okay, my first warning should have been the word "cute" in the goddamn title of the game but holy shit. No. Just no. Those vocals make me want to stab myself in the cochlea with an ice pick and there's no cohesive...anything...in the entire fucking track. Fuck.
Also, why does "Bootup" sound like 80s music? At any rate, it's got nice progression, a little retro flair, a somewhat mellow sound (though I think "Through the Fire and Flames" would sound mellow after that first piece) and no matter how you slice it, it's lightyears ahead of OMG JAPNENEEZE CUUUUTE VOICE THING. *shudder* Bootup FTW.  Now tell me all about your pain, down to the details. |

My ears literally hurt during Gacha Gacha Cute. When I think of people nominating songs like this, I think of the cultures that take the malformed babies and toss them in the wilderness to die. That's what you're asking us to do here by voting against this song.

"Gacha Gacha Cute"'s opening is really cool. The lead-up to the chorus was cool. The chorus itself was all kinds of cool. This track is very good, I don't know what's wrong with some people's taste in music.
"Bootup" was ok, had some pretty cool grooves going on, but seems so weak (musically) in comparison. Childish, even infantile in comparison! Tsk. "Gacha Gacha Cute" - 9/10 "Bootup" - 7/10  |
