And yes, I'm referring to myself with that statement as well. Though I've had a lot of other things going on as well, it's really lame for me being out here four months and not having met you guys in person.

So, I'm going to try this again. Last time we couldn't decide on a meeting place, but now I'm proposing my (boyfriend's) new house. It's not huge or loaded with cool shit, but it's still nice, and at least a place to gather. Plus there's parking available.

We don't have to make this a huge event. I'm fine with only a few people showing up. It isn't like we can't just do this again next month. There are several people who are living really close together so there is no excuse. Here's a list of people who I know are in the area:

I'm aiming for doing this in a couple weeks. I still have to run it by my BF, but I'm sure he'll listen to reason, else I'll have to kick him in the junk. Tentative date is July 26th. Let's do this shit.

Also it's a joke. We saw King Kong at the last great DC/MD/VA meet and it was a fucking terrible movie and we laughed at ourselves for eternity for seeing it.

The A/C is broken right now and it's hot as hell, but we're supposed to get a brand new one installed on Friday, so the house should be cool by the time I've set for the meet. If not, we'll just GTFO and go to Fairfax Corner or something for entertainment.
