GFF is a hellhole full of elitists who chat about everything EXCEPT games. We have a team of dedicated moderators who will ban your ass on the slightest provocation, constant member-organized activities that you are not allowed to participate in, and plenty of custom features, including our unique journal system where you can post entries that will be completely ignored. If this is your first visit, be sure to check out the FAQ or our GFWiki. You will have to register before you can post. Although membership is completely free (and gets rid of the pesky advertisement unit underneath this message) we do not recommend that you sign up, because you will get kicked in the nuts repeatedly.

Well, I'll go with a timeline. I've had used three different usernames online:
'SSJMikes', 'StrmSabre', and 'Ryuu'. 'SSJMikes' was done when I was still into Dragonball Z about 7 years ago. 'StrmSabre' started about three years later as I slowly progressed away from Dragonball Z. 'Ryuu' came around really soon after 'StrmSabre' as I didn't use the username 'StrmSabre' too much. I was big in Rurouni Kenshin at the time, reading the mangas and the like. Within the names of the attacks was the word 'Ryuu' - which also means 'Dragon'. So, yeah. |

When I very first joined Gamingforce way back in 2001 it was the first forum I'd every joined. I'd been around plenty on the Internet but for some reason never done the forum thing. Anyways, I picked a poor username that didn't last very long and it was changed with help from Drex.
As anyone who remembers my old avatar/sig combos will recall my name was very much based on the whole Transformers theme and I guess is melding of Ultra Magnus and Optimus Prime. Can't really remember how it was I ended up chosing that change, but I did and it stuck, and here I am still. |

I originally signed up on GFF years ago as Raven78. Raven was a character from a TV show I liked at the time and 78 is my favorite/lucky number.
Now since the last crash I've been Jiraiya. The perverted frog hermit from Naruto. I no longer watch the show but I like the name. |

When I first joined GFF back in 2003, I was a fan on the band Etnica. They wrote a song called Moon in your Window, and had the lyric "Is madness laughing?" I really liked that lyric, so I used it as my username. I got bored with that name in about a year, so I decided to change it to the most random thing I could think up. Candle Tree was apparently it.
After the great crash, I decided to change my username yet again, but decided to go for a nostalgia factor and again choose my name from "Moon in your Window." Moon looked the best out of all the other possible combinations. |

One late evening, I was watching MTV and a music video for the Rollins band came up. Since I had been looking for a long time to change my internet nickname (the old name being too embarassing for me to post here), I thought it perfect since it was close enough to my real name. So since then, I've been using Rollins (plus a couple numbers if 'Rollins' is taken on other sites) as my username.

a pretty simple histoty to my username...
When I initially joined Gamingforce many years ago... back when GFA was around and NYRSkate had an FTP server of his own... I was known as Toonfinder which was based upon the website that I ran that was dedicated to the meet-n-greet characters at the Disney parks. A couple of years ago I gave up the site to someone else to run and do with as they please and decided it was time to convert my username to something else... something that I already had established elsewhere... Niekon. How Niekon came about has a histroy of it's own. Back around 1992 while in college I loved photography... and would never go anywhere without my camera. Driving? Camera is by my side. In a restaurant? Camera by my side. You get the jist. Anyway, several of my friends began calling me Lord Nikon since that was my camera of choice at the time... but when I would register online at the time that name was typically taken so I added a second 'n' to become LordNikkon. And then Hackers happened... and immediately everyone that I came across thought I was trying to emulate the "Lord Nikon" from the film... *sigh* Nevermind that I had been using that nick a few years prior. And a few years after that I began running the Toonfinder site under the moniker of LordNiekon. Eventually I dropped the Lord part of the nick and just became Niekon (though many within Disney still call me by the full name)... and that is that... it all started because of camera (I now use a Mavica until I can pick up a really nice SLR) |

I have been using this name since my first BBS. Although I have been using Feitian where magi isn't available. I really don't have a good reason for doing something like this, but I was a pretty big Eva fan during that time. >.>

Mine is pretty easy to figure out, in any case.
like 7 years ago, when i first started to watch dragon ball z, there was one character, that was extremly cool, and he always made me laugh the hell out of me, he knows that he was a wimp, that couldnt fight, but that didnt stop him, and he continue talking. the hero of the earth, the legendary Mr.Satan, in the english version of DBZ its called Hercule, but i saw the show in spanish and they kept the original name. thats the stoy of my nick. BTW another fun fact is the Mr Satan is the only one in the show that never dies(at least being killed and come back to life), we suppose that he got old and died, but being the cool he is, he may have cheated death! ![]() YOU ARE ... MYSTERIOUS HERO! (Squall Leonhart from FFVIII [ff8]) Take this quiz! Quizilla | Join | Make a Quiz | More Quizzes | Grab Code ![]() |

I was /slash from about age 12, when me and a friend developed a secret code language (yes, dorky, I know), and the S was transmuted into /. My real name is Steven so yeah, I kind of adopted it as "my symbol" then.
However, when I went to IRC it wouldn't work (since / is the start of a command). So I changed it into \slash. But when you search \slash on google, you're really just searching slash, and so you don't get the results you need. So when I decided to go into music as a profession I wanted to have a name that was both Japanese-influenced and unique. So I just katakana-ized "slash" and it became surasshu. The end. |

At first my name had a symbolic value which some people thought was intriguing yet somewhat difficult to pronounce. My name originally was "Hitokiri Angelus".
Hitokiri Angelus was a name I came up with while I was studying the Japanese Restoration Period. A Hitokiri was an assassin who would kill much like that of a demon. Most Hitokiris were considered demons just by the way they would kill large groups just being one man alone. It interested me greatly. Angelus is a derivitive from latin meaning Angel. So I put both together and came up with "Angel of Death" or "Angelic Assassin", however you wish to look at it. Unfortunately when I joined here years ago I was unable to fit the entire name. So from the start, it was just shortened to "Hitokiri Angel". Just before this place went down for a bit, I kinda longed for a bit of change so I decided to shorten the name just to "Kiri". Kiri- indian name which means "amaranth flower" in sanskrit. the amaranth is an imaginary flower that never fades. Kiri- To cut with a sword. Used with specific Japanese words like "Hito" and "Hara", Hitokiri being People Cutter and Hara-kiri being Stomache Cutter. |

TRZD is the abbreviated version of my first message board username when I was like 13-14; The real Zell Dincht.
I even missed my chance to come up with a new name after the crash, but I don't really mind it too much. And it's much easier just sticking with what I have than changing I think, seems like quite a few people changed. |

I've been using variations on the word Moo as my username since 2001. It started as SuperMoo3000, an injoke between a friend and I, then ANOTHER injoke turned that into SuperMo0, then I realized Super was kind of irritating and made me look like some comic book fan, so I changed to Mo0.
By the time I got here, my name was just Mo0, and it's stuck ever since. I pondered changing it to Mauzaro after Acer suggested that's how Mo0 is pronounced, but I eventually decided againsti t. |

Mine username is connected with my real name which is Łukasz (or English Luke). It is relatively easy to spot this connection if you are a pole. Basicly it is written in foreign way without polish Łu sound which is replaced with Woo as you pronounce it the same way, sz and sh is also pronounced the same way. Of course the order of the last two letters is different but who cares ;] Don't ask about the capotalization of Q as I cannot really provide a good answer for that :P

I've been using different forms of ElvenArcher for some time during my obsession with the Lord of the Rings, and then I realized that there were way too many other people using that name. When I joined Gaminforce, I decided to use Elwe instead. It's still related to elves, but I find that not too many people catch on to that. I'm not one of those people who can recite the entire history of Tolkien's Middle Earth, but I do know that Elwe was an elf. That's all.

My user name is naturally "Sassafrass." It has layered meanings.
First, you have the natural root: The oil can produce marked narcotic poisoning, and death by causing widespread fatty degeneration of the heart, liver, and kidneys, or, in a larger dose, by great depression of the circulation, followed by a centric paralysis of respiration. ![]() Its used in modern day as a flavouring effervescing drinks. In other words, adds a little UMPH to your drink. Also, I am really aggressive. And female. Commonly regarded as "Sassy." Pang aptly named me as Sassafrass, and so I have remained for years. |
