History of your Username

Krel, Janus has been cutting a swath through the forums lately.

Only instead of a scythe, he's been using shitty posts. I... I don't know how good it is at cutting things.

Chances are, Krel, that he wanted to make a thread of a similar nature, and discovered an existing topic with the search function.

Of course there's always a strong chance i'm wrong, i, like you, can't figure out why a person would be browsing shit from 2 years ago.

Anyways, if you don't know what my name is a reference to chances are i won't approve of your musical tastes.

As far as regular aliases go GFF and GFF related places are the only places i still use Helloween as an alias. For a while i switched between other band names such as Theatre, and Gamma Ray. I've since moved on, adopting an alias a friend of mine basically pinned on me in grade school which was "Vampire". I've also adopted two others that i use regularly so if you're looking for me outside of GFF you can see me as Vampire, Zen (or a combination of the previous two) or SpidersBySystem.

"Biganime" really is just a name i've been using for many years now as far as forums and Aim /Msn handles go.

I used to go by Bigcheese back in the day on older forums...I had just gotten into anime big time around then and decided to change it up...thus Biganime was born and i've been using that for about 6 or so years now. I know its not really a great story but meh.

Holy big bag of saggy skin this thread's old. I wish some of the mystery people in here had stuck around.

Skelerex is a fictional woman I thought up over a year ago. She had pink hair and used a spear; far more threatening than the girl in my avatar. I never did much of anything with her, but I still plan to.

Indutrial is obviously the word 'industrial' without the S. It's based on a metal sign that I found in a trash pile that had the S rusted out. For years, it's also been the name of an amorphous instrumental music project of mine that is yet to see a recording release.

Xenocentric is a name I came up with a few years back when I found my addiction of Xenogears and Xenosaga was in the center of my universe.

Six years ago, I registered here as RyogaHabiki00, because it was my AIM handle at the time (and Sylvan Sorrow already had the name Ryoga here). I was big into Ranma 1/2 along with a bunch of other nerdy shit, and Ryoga was my favorite character. I actually grew tired of the name really quickly, but I waited a couple years until I actually had the name changed. Max Biggs is my actual name, and I've stuck with it since 2004 because I'll never think of a fake name that tops it.

I love that game, and there are so many enemies and characters I could have picked a name out of. GRIG ORIG, translation IRON FIST: the monstrous imperial flagship with unsurpassed capacity for destruction. the dragon Atolm: huge, black, and fearsome, wields the attack BERSERKER RAGE, countless arrows of light.

I chose the Kolba, an innocuous and peaceable flying creature from tranquil URU. I left those others to the cool kids.

My name came from the first story I wrote back when I was 10. I made the name before I learned anything about Japanese. I think I got it by thinking of the names Makoto and Minako. To put it simple she was the lead character and her goal throughout the story was to gain more power.

When I signed up for my first-ever email account (probably back in 1999 or so...), I wanted to use a name from Starcraft like Tassadar or Zeratul! Those were taken, alas, and I didn't want the damn number sticking off my name like a retarded lineage, so I thought for a moment about my skills in the game. I realized that if I was going to be your ally, I was probably going to be the first one to die anyway, so I might as well call myself your dead ally; therefore, Deadally.

Can't tell you how many people pronounce it in real life "Deadalley," like it's a damn place! And on the Internet, most people just shorten it to Deadly, which is pretty much the opposite of what I was going for when I made up the name!

So, there you go!

Mine comes from the book "The Crying of Lot 49" by Thomas Pynchon. The main character was married to a guy named Inverarity. The book was full of odd names like that, so I just picked one for internet usage. I hate having numbers and odd characters in my usernames.

I came up with 'Klaus' after I denounced my virtual Japanese citizenship and became a 'regular' person. I've always liked the name 'Klaus', even before being a weaboo.

My legend began in the 12th Century

My name is Bindu. My user name is aarathi. This is my daughter's name. I love my daughter very much. That is why i select this name as user name.

ROBOTRON...I chose this name because of my favorite old school arcade game ROBOTRON2084. Soon after I realized I was a robot in real life so the name kinda stuck. Now I'm like a rash all over the internet...100% Pure Robot!!!

Christ, this place is nowhere near as busy as it once was. I remember having to fight to keep up with the amount of posts going on.

Anyway, my name was given to me by an old friend, who is no longer my friend, because she's a selfish cow. To be honest I'm not quite sure how it came up, but every so often she used to say "Maximus Meridius!", and that got the old dusty cogs moving in my brain.

As I mentioned before in my Welcome Welcome thread, I used to be known here years ago as InvisionUK. Unfortunately everyone I knew back then has either disappeared off the face of the earth now, or become super powerful moderator and admin types who could ban my ass for saying... "ass".
