10-15 hours? Damn, what's taking so long? I never spend that long coloring anything. Are you using a mouse?

I'm slow, it's big. I also will probably have to do the lines again at the end because I have to upscale it by 3-5 times to actually print it. Plus I've never put this much depth into a colored piece before so I'm kind of learning as I go along.

All just excuses, the real answer is I just suck.

Rather, I think you are being indecisive about what exactly that you want to do, and also being a little bit too careful about the whole thing.

deep in divine 100%
Code:
Media: Pencil (0.5mm)
Program: Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended
Dimensions: 1920x2500; 600 pixels/inch (12" x 17"; 300 pixels/inch printed)
Progression #30 (Full Resolution)

Well, it is complete. 100%. Done. My second 100% completed CG work. Not much to say. It could have been a bit cleaner and now I know that I have to draw at the size I intend to print at, so I'll keep that in mind for my next poster. I'm very pleased with the outcome and I hope people enjoy it.

I made 13 prints of the picture at 12in. x 17in. to give to family members who have helped fund me going to college, my workplace and boss, and for two of my friends. I plan on numbering them 00-12 before I give them out, if not only to feed my ego into thinking they have some sort of value.

Cheers.

Many compliments on the excellent sketches! You have a very good sense of how to use line thickness and such subtleties to give the characters depth even in the simplicity of contour line, making them pleasing to the eye. Very well wrought.

Heres an update. Hopefully someone somewhere will notice.

I don't dabble too much with illustration anymore, mainly because of time restraints, but I'm going to try to change that. But I do design things on a daily basis.

Hotlinking mainly because I'm really lazy and don't like posting things twice.
