Devo's Random Art
Random because my classes are all over the place. In one I take pictures and make ads with various programs. In another we focus on illustrator. And I even have a traditional printmaking class.

For the walnut ad, I liked the concept 1 and concept 3 the best, they look the most finished. I wonder maybe it was just because how the image was taken, but I rather like concept 4, it could be most effective, but I didn't like how the scene was lit.

That fox is very nice. It'd be something I'd buy at a store to hang on my wall. I like the architecture shots. Good symmetry in the first shot, and an awesome diagonal line shot in the 4th one. Vertical lines in the 3 one. All rather pleasing to the eyes. I'm a bit of an architecture buff so I have a bit of an appreciation for those.

I find that mistakes sometimes work in my favour while I am drawing.
Personally, I favor the 'mistake' better. Something about it looks a bit more polished than the lighter version. (I think its the nature of the texture, which is brought out a bit more when the palette is overall a bit darker.) It makes a certain aspect of the print darker, and more dreamlike, IMO. They are both good.

What's the orientation of the wrapping? I am not too sure from just the shapes. I think you might be able to increase the complexity a little bit, like on the edges or on the ribbon. It looks really clean and pleasant though. I wonder what it would look like with bar code and nutritional info on.

The bar code and nutritional stuff is meant for the back, which we didn't have to do. Yeah the banner/ribbon I was thinking of changing. My instructor even said I should move it up to coincide with the Abruzzo/chocolate artisan and change everything to Italian to match the city name.
