Blender Discussion
So, who uses blenders? I have been experimenting with blender and Yafray recently, its pretty fun to play with once you get past the interface.
Blender is a free 3D graphics software that is pretty popular. Its got quite a few functionalities that is usually associated with professional level 3D packages. The software can be downloaded at their official website: blender.org - Home Another thing that is associated with blender is Yafray, it is a raytracer use for photo realistic rendering. Unlike Blender, which an run stand alone, Yafray requires installation. Although at the newest version of blender, it automatically detects Yafray and render from the application directly (which before requires exporting XML script and render from Yafray).
