Well since Seris grabbed July, I'll move over to April. Make something April-like. Probably a photo with some Rain in it <3

Lol, I was just about to choose April cause it's the month I was born in =P. But I can move over to August, my other favorite month. If someone else wants to do up the artwork, I can work up an August poem =D. Actually I might even do some artwork myself. See what I can come up with.

I will take March, because that is when the cherry blossoms here begin to bloom, and I have a truly awesome photograph of that.

Well, there is nothing wrong with just Photography, but getting something of variety would be nice.

Alright guys, now that you might have some time, what do you think? For the Writer and Drawing/CGing/3D people, get your proposal within this couple of days, and maybe a rough draft or two in a week or so, okay? :3

A proposal is a brain storming of what you might do. Please post in thread so it can be discussed.

For the photographers, post some of the photos that you intend to put in the calendar so it can be discussed.

This will be the image for March:

It is called "Magical Sakura" and it was taken at the Georgia International Horse Park in March 2005.

That looks really good. I have some urges to actually pump up the saturation a bit. Did you use filter on it?

I'd like to do an illustration for July, if that's alright.

Photography and photo-editing and poetry are just not my forte, so if you don't mind me submitting something a little different than what people have already posted or might have in mind...

Its not a problem at all. I am trying to get a variety after all. :3 What I mean by brain storming is writing down your ideas of what you might want to do specifically, and discuss and decided on what you like the best.

Other than a mild gaussian blur and a very mild pink overlay, no. The picture is already somewhat of a departure from reality, I don't think it needs any more saturation, then it wouldn't look real at all.

Hmm. August. Well, August is sorta that transition between summer and fall. So despite being somewhat cliche perhaps, as far as the picture goes, I was thinking of something where on the left side its all summery, and then as your eyes move to the right, the picture sorta melds or transitions into autumny stuff.

As far as the writing for the image I'd like to do a piece of poetry. I'd probably write something that changes. So whether it be the rhyming pattern, or the topic or what have you, something about the piece of poetry will change as it goes along. It only needs to be a couple stanzas so I think it'll turn out okay.

I have an idea for something I could draw for January (although it's approaching fast and I have other things I need to be working on).

I'll see if I can get it drawn up tomorrow after I finish another drawing. It's pretty much just a series of shots of a character of mine, a character based on the month.

Well, you don't have to hurry too much if it gets in your way. I can do clean up and coloring if you want. I think at this point it isn't as much as get it in time but rather the fact that we can get one out.

I am shooting for middle and latter part of January.

I feel sure I could do it by the end of this month.

However, a good idea struck me yesterday, one I do not wish to use. For January, perhaps instead it could be a photo of sunrise and on it, probably in white text, would read "The sun rises to greet a new year."

Oh. Well in that case I've already penciled through a few ideas, but ultimately I think I want to settle on this rough sketch here and maybe flesh out the concept a little bit.

I mean really, who can't relate to shoving their head in the freezer when the temperatures are as hot and humid as they are in the middle of july?

It's a ghost town in Chile's Atacama Desert. The place is called Humberstone and it's a deserted late nineteenth/early twentieth century mining village. I was there last May, and the composition of the photo (dust, sand, blue sky) strikes me as kind of transitory.
