(I did a search of this forum for a similar thread but I only found one about what you put in cereal. So...)

What cereal is your absolute favorite?
For me, I really can't pick just one. I love Froot Loops, Lucky Charms, Fruity and Cocoa Pebbles, and Rice Krispies Treats Cereal. Frosted Flakes are good too.

Is there a cereal you love but can't find anymore?
Rice Krispies Treats! I've heard it still exists, but I never see it in Maryland. Amazon.com has it, but I'm not paying 20 bucks for a dang box of cereal.

What cereal(s) do you hate?
Corn Flakes are tolerable for about a minute, and then they're too soggy for me to enjoy. ;_; I don't like any cereal with freeze dried fruit in it either.

Do you usually buy generic brand or name brand cereals?
I used to only really like name brand cereals, but most generic ones are fine. Especially the Froot Loops and Smacks ones.

Any cereal that doesn't have some amazing artificial taste to it... Corn Flakes and stuff along that line.

Meh, it depends. Mostly name brand.

Does müsli count as cereal? If it does, that's pretty much it.

I love the ones with raisins, dried banana and oat lumps in them. I don't buy them when I live by myself, but will eat them if they're available when I wake up; so it's strictly breakfast food.

EDIT: I guess all kinds of müsli have oat lumps! Lucky me.

Brand Name, but normally if the stuff's on sale. What can I say...I like the boxes and characters and don't mind being a pawn of the big cereal corporations. That's how I was raised.

Cereal is a great snack. It actually has vitamins, isn't too fattening and tastes better than normal crackers or pretzels without the mess of crumbs, so I've been turning to it more often in times of munchie attacks.

I was never a fan of putting milk on mine. I always eat it dry and can't imagine eating watered down cereal.

I don't hate any cereal. I LOVE Wheaties, ^^^Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Captain Crunch: Crunchberries, Frosted mini-wheats, frosted flakes, Raisin Nut Bran, cracklin' oat bran, Cocoa Pebbles, coco Puffs, fruity pebbles...pretty much any cereal is delicious to me.

I prefer off brand labels because they provide more cereal, sometimes better taste at much lower prices. However, if I can't get that then I'll stick with name brands. I can't survive without cereal!

I heard from someone that they recently changed Kix. Have you noticed any difference? I don't eat it so I wouldn't know, myself.

And yes, Rice Krispies Treats cereal needs to come back.

KASHI!!!!! Oh my gosh, I absolutely love that stuff. I hate milk, so Kashi cereal is easy to eat dry. I also like Toaster Oatmeal Squares, Marshmallow Mateys, Honey Nut Cheerios, Wheaties, Honeycomb, Sunrise, Life, Honey Bunches of Oats...mostly hard, crunchy cereal that's portable and easy to eat with your hands too.

Ummmm....don't think so.

Ugh, the whole chocolate cereal group, like Reese's and whatnot. That stuff is NASTY. It looks gross, too, no offense to chocolate cereal lovers. Also, bland shit like Total and Regular Cheerios are pretty untasty as well.

I get whatever's cheapest, but I don't think Kashi has an off brand.


I eat my cereal with chopsticks. I don't know why; I find it fun.

Honestly, I've been starting to find it a chore to choose and eat most cereals. I've tried them all numerous times and am beginning to get bored of them.

Although I never get sick of Frosties/Frosted Flakes. They're just too delicious, admittedly. With or without milk.

Corn Pops...little yellow spheres which tasted like corn. They were so awesome, but I can't find them anymore. If I had them, they'd make me feel all nostalgic.

I don't mind Corn Flakes, actually. I do dislike Sultana Bran, though. And Weet-Bix, but that's another story.

Really? Where do you live? I see Corn Pops all the time in Maryland. Kelloggs did change the name of the cereal to just Pops for a while, but I think it's back to its original name now.

Australia. People mustn't like them over here. A shame, too. They're so nice.

If I'm eating it in the morning I like to eat Raisin Bran, Honey Bunches of Oats or Honey Nut Cheerios. I like to eat cereal for dessert, too (especially in the dining hall), and I typically eat Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Fruit Loops, Frosted Flakes or Corn Pops.

I always buy name brand cereal.

It changes every once in a while, but the top ones have always been Frosted Flakes, Apple Cinnamon Cheerios, Cookie Crisp, Crunch Berries, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Peanut Butter Crunch. Think I'm gonna get some of the PBC right now.

Everyone is saying Rice Krispies Treats, but I hadn't really noticed it was gone. In fact, I think we might still have it. I remember Oops! All Berries! was pretty kick ass, but I don't think it's around anymore.

Fucking Oreo Os. They taste nothing like Oreos, which are arguably the best cookies. Period. Also, my aunt had bought me like 4 boxes of Kix at one point, for whatever reason, (I think I had said that I liked them, so she bought a whole bunch.) so I was stuck eating that for God knows how long. Now I can't stand the stuff.

I buy name brand when I can, but the generic stuff really doesn't taste that different. The giant bags are such a pain in the ass though.

Quite a few- Frosted corn flakes/frosties, Koko crunch, Honey Stars, Honey bunches of oats (with almonds), Special K and Cheerios. Used to love corn flakes but got sick of it after having it non-stop for a few months.

Um, it depends on the cost, really.

Sanitarium Muesli Vanilla Almond Clusters. It's better than dope, seriously. God knows how many boxes I've gone through this year, and I have good taste in food. With milk? Awesome. Without milk? Still awesome! It's like junk food, but (kinda) good for you. Imagine granola, but more crunchy and perfectly sweetened. At $5 a box, it's worth every cent. And I have good taste in food.

I have several, but I usually just have any of the Special K varieties these days. I also like Frosted Flakes sometimes.

Not really impossible to find, but Corn Pops comes to mind.

I've tried both, and except for minor differences in the generic brands, I don't mind either one.
