TOMATOES: Sliced or diced?
I was having sort of a dispute with a friend of mine recently so I decided to present to GFF the question. My friend says that tomatoes are at their most delicious when sliced. I however disagree, and believe that chopping tomatoes up into tiny pieces in the best way to enjoy them. We can't seem to reach any kind of compromise on this issue, and it's tearing down our friendship. Please help me GFF.

Well you both fail for not specifying the type of tomato or the dish.
In stuff like sauces? Definitely diced. (Guacamole, Salsa). For sandwiches and hamburgers? Fucking sliced dude. And I don't know what the hell kind of person dices an heirloom (unless for a sauce). |

Yeah, it depends on the type of dish I'm making. For anything but sandwiches, they're usually diced. I also tend to remove the seeds sometimes. But I don't think I've really noticed any real difference in taste regarding sliced or diced tomatoes.

diced is the way to go. Again this is my field of work.
when you make anything smaller or thinner it will be compressed [redefined] therefore the flavor is jammed in. Like let's say cookies, it would taste sweeter if you bashed it up and eat the crumbs rather than the round intact cookie.
I've got all day to do nothing
