Meat Balls MY STYLE

Some people used pre packaged meatballs but I don't care for them.

I like to take lean ground beef and cook about 60 or so small tea spoon sized meatballs in olive oil and sea salt'

I then take chili sauce and the cooked meatballs and put them in a slow cooker with some concord grape jelly. Its really that simple, let it tok several hours and you will have some spicy tangy meatballs.

If you are diabetic than feel free to use sugar free jelly but grape it the best.

Please share any meatballs recipies here, it can be turkey or chiken as that tends to be less fatening

I've only cooked meatballs a few times since I'm usually too lazy to go through all the trouble, but a good trick is to put in around 1 part of Italian sausage for every 4 parts of ground beef/turkey. It'll make it a bit spicier and juicier.

Trick also works in hamburgers and meatloaf, as well.

My mom makes her meatballs this way. She takes her ground beef(unlean) and puts it in a bowl. Then she mixes in crackers, onions and several other spices. Then she proceeds to make it into balls. The crackers help it hold it's shape. She makes meatloaf and hamburgers the same way. Somehow they always turn out nice and moist. MMMM. Now I'm hungry.

I like meatballs too, especially if they're accompanied with mashed potato, etc.
