What kind of spark would be needed to restart this fire? I'm not specifically addressing Blah here, since you're very busy with other stuff, I'm asking the community in general: what will it take?

This is a seriously awesome idea, please please PLEASE don't let this one slip through the cracks. Someone needs to take charge, throw serious ideas around, and get the ball rollin again.

What will it take? Perhaps a strategy? A timeline?

Dunno... but I don't think the frontpage should just be reserved for reviews anymore.

As much as people seem to hate on the new 4chan frontpage it's actually pretty neat.

If we could have something like that but for the latest threads, chocojournals, use of img tag (thumbnailed of course), and anything you can think of in addition to frontpage articles be they reviews or whatever feature you'd like to put up there.

Actually, screw dat. Something Awful's frontpage is probably more the style we should be going after. But perhaps some sort of hybrid with our own touches would be good.
