Welcome to the Gamingforce Interactive Forums.
GFF is a hellhole full of elitists who chat about everything EXCEPT games. We have a team of dedicated moderators who will ban your ass on the slightest provocation, constant member-organized activities that you are not allowed to participate in, and plenty of custom features, including our unique journal system where you can post entries that will be completely ignored. If this is your first visit, be sure to check out the FAQ or our GFWiki. You will have to register before you can post. Although membership is completely free (and gets rid of the pesky advertisement unit underneath this message) we do not recommend that you sign up, because you will get kicked in the nuts repeatedly.

I'm a minimalist because desktop clutter disturbs me.

Couldn't you upload a larger image? I'm kind of curious about what you're doing with Ubuntu there.

Meanwhile, I'm STILL using the same desktop as I did midway through the last 'Post Your Desktop' thread. O_o

Finding near-perfect wallpapers are tough, but finding a simply decent Visual Style is much tougher. :/

Nice and clean with no clutter. I don't like icons, they get in the way.

Yes, there was this screenshot of a bright green desktop here previously, but I decided to ditch that wallpaper/bblean style and go for something more... calm.

The girl's pretty cute, too~

Here's mine for the moment:

I'm furious that my laptop's max resolution is 1680x1050 because a mere week after I purchased it, the same model was upgraded to 1900x1200 (or whatever the number is) for the same amount that I paid for my 1680x1050.

Don't feel too bad, I used to have 1680x1050, but when I had to get my monitor replaced on this laptop, it was swapped out for one that had 1440x900 as the max resolution

The upside is that all of my 1600x1200/1680x1050/etc., wallpapers can be downsized usually.

Sure. I'll have to take a new screenshot at home so you can see what my wallpaper looks like with the theme ( works very well, I must say ).

Here's a shot with a few apps open:

I'll get a better one later.

BTW: your desktop looks awesome.
